Vertigo History Lesson Part 3

Brand name is official. In 1995 the H Series became part of the Fernandes brand and were introduced to the international market, with the same first Burny models now bearing the vintage Fernandes logo. The HB-65 (Vertigo Bass) was also released in 1995, under the Fernandes name, with two finish options and eye-catching pickguard designs, was a pioneering 4-string instrument of the era.

It was a matter of short time until major guitarists took notice and started playing Fernandes H guitars, live and in the studio, the first notable artists to pick up an H model were Rick Nielsen of CHEAP TRICK, Balsac of GWAR and John Feldman of GOLDFINGER.

Stay tuned for part 4 coming next week!
