NAMM 2010 Report

The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) hosted the 2010 NAMM Show, the longest-running trade show in the United States, January 14th through 17th in Anaheim, California. The annual trade show is the place where music products retailers meet face-to-face with manufacturers to make their biggest purchases or gain product knowledge for their stores in the year ahead. At show close, NAMM reported 87,569 registrants, a 2 percent increase from last year.

As usual, the show was very successful for Fernandes, who presented an array of current and upcoming guitar models, including the main atraction since last year, the
SHIN Series. Upcoming models include the "stars of the show", the Revolver Classic Series -first production Japan-made Fernandes model in 10 years-, the Spalted Limited Series, the Revolver Elite JS, Vortex Deluxe Limited, Monterey Elite Limited, Ravelle and Monterey Elite Tremolo, and the first Deluxe series equipped with the Fernandes Sustainer system, the Ravelle and Monterey Deluxe Tremolo Sustainer models. Details about these upcoming models will be posted soon, so keep an eye for it!

A Revolver Pro-81 guitar was given away at show floor, after randomly selecting a business card from the jar where show attendees where asked to drop their cards to participate in the raffle. The winner of the best-selling Sustainer-equipped guitar, was Ron Wilson, a guitar teacher and performer from Camarillo, California, who as a long-time Fernandes fan was very happy to receive his prize from the hands of Fernandes staff.

Fernandes extends a big thank you to all our 30+ international distributors who came to our booth, business partners, dealers, artists and visitors who made this show one of the best so far in the history of the event.
